Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After being home for 2 years with my toddlers I have decided to return to the classroom. At my new school, my classroom feels empty without a comfortable classroom rug for mini-lessons. I am the only fourth-grade classroom without a rug. My students love to work in different spots around the room. I know this rug will boost their engagement and will be used in my classroom for years to come.
I would love to have the ability to instruct students during whole group instruction with them on the rug to ensure students are focused, engaged, and ready to learn.
