My Project

Help me spark a love of reading by creating a classroom library where each student can find something that interests them. Our school is one of the highest-needs schools in our district. Each child deserves a quality education and access to books.

Some of my students come to me unable to read, while others say they don't like reading.

I always tell them it's okay. At one time, I didn't know how to read or I didn't like to read either. I've found often it's more of a case where students haven't found what they WANT to read. I plan to have a variety of books to help spark the love of reading, the growth in reading, and the minds of our future Leaders!
