Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our middle school athletes are fun, energetic, and eager to improve their mental and physical toughness. A majority of our students qualify for free-or-reduced lunch and will be the first in their families to attend a four-year college or university.

Our student athletes are looking to develop the healthy habits now to lead long and fruitful lives later.

Two to three times a week our budding athletes get to engage in full on exercise circuits to help them build their physical and mental stamina. With the Presidential Fitness Test deadline just around the corner, our students are gearing up to meet and exceed expectations set by the great state of California!

My Project

Our students are gearing up to return to team sports beginning with flag football this fall! In order to prepare them for the season we are requesting youth-sized footballs, blocking pads to train our offense and defense, training cones to practice offensive and defensive plays as well as for agility and endurance training, and practice jerseys to mimic live games.

Our goal this year is to bring our school it's first ever Flag Football Champsionship!

We are confident that our coaches and scholar athletes will be able to do so with your help to get these training materials before the start of the season!
