My Students

How did Ben Franklin discover electricity? Through the basic principles of scientific method, of course! Our students have the potential to discover greatness, they just need the proper tools.

Our first grade students are the scientists and inventors of tomorrow!

They are curious and eager minds. Our title-one school is in a rural, low socio-economic area. We lack the resources and tools needed for students to experience the cool world of science.

My Project

These hands-on science tools and resources will provide the opportunity for our students to conduct experiments, explore the world around them, and create hypotheses and discoveries. Included in the request are science discovery tools such as magnifying glasses and experiment kits; Can Do interactive games geared towards our individual standards; and realistic models of life cycle specimens. Each kit also includes the materials and step-by-step directions needed to conduct the experiments. Through science, they will discover their own creativity and will enhance their ability to solve problems and be "self-thinkers".

Imagine a world without technology, creativity and discovery...now imagine that same world with endless possibilities!

These science materials will help create the scientists and inventors of tomorrow. With these hands-on tools and resources, our first graders will discover the greatness of our world and will be inspired to create and invent ways to make our world better.
