My Students

My wonderful students are part of the second largest school district in the nation, Los Angeles Unified School District. They are a diverse group of students from many different backgrounds. Together, they make up a pretty magical class of committed students who will be our future leaders and future coders!

Every morning, they come to school with huge smiles and are super eager to learn!

They love to learn and could learn even more with technology! They deserve the best!

My Project

Chromebooks will help my students become proficient in keyboarding and give them access to different types of coding programs that are available on the internet. In third grade, students are expected to take standardized tests on a computer. If students are to be assessed this way, we have to actually prepare them and provide them access to the materials that will help them be successful.

Headphones will allow students to watch and listen to TedEdTalks, based on their individual interests, and open a world of knowledge to them at their fingertips.

Flash drives will allow students to save their work and encourage them to work on their projects over a period of time.
