My Project

I am a Gifted teacher and one of our objectives is to include the arts in our curriculum. I plan on using the materials like the oil pastels to recreate the artist Wayne Thiebaud's works of art depicting every day things. Another artist that I plan to introduce is Pablo Picasso's and his art style called Cubist Movement art.

In today's classrooms there is no mention of the Arts anymore; this is a sad commentary for our educational system.

I have the freedom and the ability to bring the Arts alive (arts, poetry, dance, composers, or music) into the classroom which allows the students to delve into the Arts.
