Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students here are from a low-income family-oriented community. Students come from local communities around the corner. The students are well behaved independent kids. The students are from local communities who live a struggled life but know how to move forward.
Most of the kids are excited to come to school and are ready to work.
They need guidance and that is what we are here for. They seek for help and we, as teachers, help them out. Bright and smart students who enjoy their life even though they might have struggles out of school.
My Project
My students on the soccer team don't have soccer equipment because balls keep getting lost when they bounce over the fence. With futsal balls, they can keep the balls on the floor and will not get lost and bouncing all over the place. With 5 balls I can create small groups to practice skills. It will make it easier to practice passing or dribbling because we practice on concrete ground. With the 2 sets of pugs goals, we can play games also.
Futsal equipment is a different way to practice soccer.
This equipment will also help motivate my players as they will be excited to play with a different kind of ball. They will practice in a different way and will develop their skills.
