My Students

I am a newly hired Spanish teacher at my school who wants to create an inviting and safe environment for my students. Ninety percent of the students receive free or reduced-price meals. My students have very diverse backgrounds and come together to form a wonderful community.

My students enjoy participating in literacy activities and they are eager writers and readers.

They love interacting with each other and learning new things. They are always interested in learning and sharing their cultures.

My Project

It would be amazing to gather students on the rug as I teach them the mini-lessons. Most of the rugs found around our school are all being used by classroom teachers and the other ones are over used.

I would love to create a safe and inviting environment for my students so that they feel comfortable when they arrive to learn.

Our shelves will help create a colorful and inviting Spanish library. They will also be used for storing student work and to organize student's materials/supplies. Creating a new classroom is not an easy task. It is much harder when the school has run out of funds to help you create the environment you want. I want to thank you in advance for your help with creating a fun and inviting Spanish Classroom!
