Help me give my students the funds to fund their future financial literacy!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lesage's classroom raised $430
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my school, like many students these days, struggle to understand the concept of a dollar.
I want to provide them with games and manipulatives to reinforce the concepts I have taught them.
This project includes board games that will teach them while they have fun. Pairing fun, hands-on activities, with math concepts creates longer-lasting understandings. Many games are the games I grew up playing and still remember playing all these years later.
The other part of this project is dry erase boards that are set up for students to compare fractions. They help the students by guiding them to see the ways to compare decimals and fractions.
