This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After 5 years out of teaching, I am returning to the classroom and thrilled to be working with 5th grade at an elementary school in East Boston. Having worked with many schools over the last few years, I've learned a lot of lessons about what it means to create a strong classroom culture and joyful environment for learning.

My goal is to set our classroom up for success by providing as many materials (pillows, books, crayons, etc.) as possible, so that students are inspired to work hard and have fun.
