My Project
In the fall of 2020, no one knew what to expect for the upcoming year of learning. I was fortunate to have funded through Donors Choose two yearlong subscriptions to BreakoutEDU, an online digital escape room. From that time until now, BreakoutEDU has proved its worth, thoroughly engaging students whether remote or in person. I have used it to teach a variety of concepts, from expository writing to the Dewey Decimal System, and everything between.
BreakoutEDU is so much fun, students don't even realize they are learning--and building their SEL skills, too!
