My Project

Our students will be participating in a FUNctional Shop program. During this program, our students will utilize ADL skills, sequencing, and functional skills while working on Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and speech and language skills.

These items will be used to make the food items that we are selling.

The students need to measure out different ingredients, mix in bowls, mix with a spoon. The items will also be used during the sale to give receipts, items in bags, and clipboards to record information. The broom is for cleaning.

Our students are District 75 Middle School students with severe special needs. This program will allow them to use functional life skills and prepare them to work in the community. The items requested are essential to make that happen.
