My Project

The classroom rug will give us a central location for small groups who need additional learning time for complex concepts. A cozy tush helps keep focus on what matters, the board and the subject!

A classroom mailbox system has been a dream of mine since I discovered the power of teacher to student direct feedback.

Many students benefit from positive notes letting them know that I have noticed how hard they are trying. A mailbox for each student will also give each child a sense of privacy as they already share desks and get things mixed up with others work.

I have personally bought these exact pencil bags to try out with students who are exceptionally hard on pencil boxes and these hands-down are the most sturdy and nice kept bags. They give us a safe location to keep pencils/highlighters/note cards, etc that the students use frequently every day. The zippers don't break, and I have yet to replace one. I would like to have enough to give one to each child.
