Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students do not know how to play a game with a peer that is without technology. Having one winner and a few lose. They do not know how to play board games or the fun of doing a puzzle with our peers. In class we did a puzzle as a part of a rotation when each group would work on it and by the end it would be completed by the last group. They LOVED it! They loved being able to see how much progress would get done per group.

It made me aware that they needed to unplug and play with their peers.

They are so use to computer games. Puzzles, board games and card games are GREAT ways for students to learn to be social again and learn how to unplug.
