Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special ed m/m grades K-4th grade. My students are some of the best students you will ever meet. They love to tell stories and make others laugh. My students are all unique in their own way; that's what makes them so special to me.

My students love to learn to read and thrive on achieving their reading goals.

Secret Stories will help my students learn why letters go together and make different sounds. Secret Stories explains the sounds letters make when they are together. There are mnemonic sound pictures that will help my students remember for independent reading and writing.

My goal for this project is to be able to give my students a new resource to use while decoding and encoding words. I want my students to feel proud of themselves for being able to read at least one new word. I want my students to make as much progress as they possibly can before the end of this school year. Please help my goals and my students goals come true.
