My Project

Money makes the world go round. Knowing how to recognize money and knowing how to calculate change and payments are necessary skills for students to develop before transitioning into adulthood.

Help give my students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities supplies to help make financial literacy accessible and fun.

My students are in grades 10 to 12 and all receive special education services. They are a part of the transition program, with the focus being providing support for students as they transition out of high school and into the real world.

Through the use of games, play money, and financial literacy task boxes, I hope to introduce my students to real world money skills. These transferable skills are essential for independence and will carry them through their life.

Ms. Ryan Mastery Charter School - Lenfest Grades 9-12
