My Students

In this difficult time, please Help me give my students the opportunity to remain critical, accountable thinkers in our new distance learning space.

I will be working with students that either is diagnosed with speech impairment or learning disabilities this year.

My students are from age 5 to 7. The majority of them are English Language Learners who might not have attended full-time school before. They live in homes with non-English speaking parents or caretakers.

My students are of Asian descent with 99% of them receiving free or reduced school meals. They are excited about learning and they come to school every day with hope, expectations, and enthusiasm. Your donation truly makes a difference. Thank you very much!

My Project

These materials will allow students to be more interactive and accountable while we either work from a distance or in the school building due to COVID-19 pandemic. The numbers counting pocket chart will help our daily Math Talk to build up student's number sense. The nuts about counting/sensory beads and balls will help our special need students to learn math concept from table top sensory materials. The sight words journal book will be sending home with my first graders to practice daily sight words even if they are at home.
