Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 3K students are the most amazing students in the world! I have 15 wonderful 3-k general and special education students who are brilliant and amazing. The 3-K classroom is often the first school experience for young children, so creating an age-appropriate classroom structure and routines is essential.

My 3-K classroom is organized using a center-based method with specific areas for activities such as reading, building, creating art, sensory activities, library, and dramatic play.

Each station needs organization and support for the children to shine! The kids have such an active imagination and love to participate in center-time activities. They learn so much through their center exploration.

My project is based on the student's interests.

My students love to read, and each week we pick new books based on our unit and social-emotional skills. These books should be displayed and accessible to the students to view at any time during the day, the children would tend to read during center time. The magnetic shelves will hold the books of the week for students to access at their leisure.

My students also love bubbles! Blowing and watching bubbles are great fun for toddlers, it may not seem like anything more, but actually, this entertaining activity has many important roles in cognitive, language, and physical development for children! The bubble machine is operated using AA batteries.

The plates are for our dramatic center for children to use their imagination to create "home-cooked meals" and have wonderful dinner parties for their friends. This supports the students learning through sensory play by interacting with their teachers and fellow students. This will also help improve their vocabulary!
