Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Incorporating games into learning is one of the best approaches for our community, as it makes education both enjoyable and effective. When students engage with new materials in a playful manner, they not only have fun but also develop a deeper understanding of concepts like reading and writing. This interactive approach fosters a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

In our classroom, mirrors will be used regularly, allowing students to compare their mouth movements to the images on our sound wall.

This practice is especially beneficial for students with speech disabilities, helping them improve pronunciation and confidence. By planning these activities thoughtfully, we’re creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. This method not only enhances learning but also builds a stronger, more supportive community.
