Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My existing students are 8: 3-K, 3-1st and 2-2nd grade students in a self-contained Special Education classroom. They have been in the building learning with some remote instruction when needed.

They are ‘shining stars’ who come to school eager to ‘brighten’ their days and 'soar' with exciting learning!

My Project

My class is a K/1/2 special needs class. My students have been performing below their grade levels all year and struggle with retaining information. These summer bridge learning books will be a great tool to help them review skills learned and prepare them for the next year’s challenging skills. The books will provide fun activities that will motivate the children to want to do the work. The books are also light and portable that can be taken with them wherever they go to visit or vacation. Let’s keep them learning!
