This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my class are hungry. The hunger is a consistent issue but I see it affect the students on an everyday basis. When a child is hungry their needs aren't met. If your needs aren't met you cannot strive for success in an educational setting. Your hunger will supercede tasks and learning.
The snack you are providing will not just alleviate hunger but also steer their energy into their academics.
My students are smart and hard working. The afternoon snack that is provided by your donation goes a long way.
