The equipment that I am requesting such as the tunnel, parachute, and scooter, will be used on a daily basis as part of the curriculum to enhance vocabulary and the understanding of concepts in different subjects while giving the students the opportunity to have hands-on activities.
My students who have multiple disabilities deserve fun and engaging activities that motivate them.
Some examples of how we are planning to use the equipment include teaching preposition words such as "through the tunnel," and "on and off the scooter," among many more. We can introduce some science by talking about force and motion as we use the parachute, and last but not least, we can just let the students enjoy being part of a group that loves and accepts one another.
