Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are in a high immigrant area in Hialeah and a large percentage of our students are from Hispanic backgrounds. Many of my students are ELL students that are still learning English. I strive to maximize each opportunity they have.

My students are kind, caring, helpful, and always eager to learn.

When my students are engaged with reading and writing, they produce their best work. I want to be able to give my students the materials that they deserve and that they need to be successful.

My Project

Please help me give my students learning materials for distance learning. Due to Covid-19 we will be starting the school year virtually and will be paperless once we are able to reopen schools. With a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card I will be able to give my students access to fun and engaging learning materials.

Best of all, there are many resources for not only core classes like Reading and Math but also for social-emotional learning to help students through these changing times.

This project for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift certificate will allow me to purchase resources that will be utilized now and into the future. I will be able to use the resources acquired through Teachers Pay Teachers for many years to come!
