My Students

I teach 3rd and 4th grade special education in Norfolk, VA.

My students live in an urban area and typically come from low socio-economic backgrounds.

My students work hard to overcome obstacles every day, but they push through and always persevere. I am so proud of their hard work and the progress they make.

My Project

My students have really loved using a variety of toys at recess this school year and I want to give them similar toys to use at home this summer. Each student will receive multi-colored chalk, a beach ball, bubbles, sunglasses, a pop fidget toy and their own sand bucket.

These toys will help give my students safe, exciting and fun playing options for summer break!

I will pass these items out to my students during our end-of-year drive thru celebration. I know my students will really enjoy this fun surprise!
