My Project

Creating and appreciating art is beneficial for all ages. This year I am teaching AP Art History, and when some of my students consider history, they become uninterested. I love my students and want to do everything possible to make learning fun.

I am requesting chisels, tempera paint, drawing paper, brushes, embroidery floss, canvas pads and more.

These items will assist me in incorporating fun into the art history classroom. Students can explore art history through various hands-on projects utilizing these objects. They will take an AP exam at the end of the year, and by integrating projects into the curriculum, I believe students will remember the material better.

We would like to create prehistoric and classical sculptures, cave paintings, and prints, replicate ancient paintings with pastels and paint, and so much more utilizing these materials.
