My Project

My students really enjoy the current flexible seating arrangements I have. However, the furniture is all borrowed from other teachers so I want to get my own set for the kids! I will also be doing a combo class (2nd and 3rd) so will need a lot of options for the students to sit with their grade levels in a less traditional way. To save space in the room, I will be using tables instead of individual desks so stools will be perfect to get students to move around and share tables.

I am looping with my class so I know what they like and are successful with.

Last year, they loved having a couch in our library corner. It became the ultimate quiet and peaceful spot where students would curl up and read on their own. As for the file cabinet, we're doing reading clubs and this will be used to store all the books and activities that are needed. Lastly, the laminator will be used for certificates for all the different activities we have planned this year!
