This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional activities and supplies for Fun Friday centers. Students have Fun Friday time each week where they are given free time to work on a fun activity with their peers. Right now, we have a few board games and some Play-Doh, but this project will allow students to have more variety to choose from. Students will be able to build, create and imagine using new LEGOS, magnetic tiles, Play-Doh, different types of building blocks, STEM bins and other materials. These materials will allow students to engage in fun activities that are also educational and help them think outside the box.
These exciting new additions will allow students to unleash their creativity!
I have seen how giving students time to work and play together throughout the week can positively affect their work ethic and build a positive classroom community. These new activities will truly bring our class even closer together and help us to encourage teamwork, sharing, and creativity!
