My Students

My first grade students are amazing. They come from a variety of places and circumstances. Each kid comes to school every day ready to learn, to work, and most importantly, to grow. The kids are all individuals, which different strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. The one thing they all have in common is that they persevere and continue to amaze me and the world on a daily basis!

My Project

Please help to support my students who have worked hard in independent reading to celebrate with fun, but educational, activities. The activities are meant to build reading, mathematics, and social competencies.

Activities in this project include games and Legos.

The activities are both academically and socially important. They will help kids enjoy learning with other people. More importantly, it will help the students to learn to be cooperative and to recognize the strengths that each individual has to offer.

My students would love to celebrate their reading accomplishments with new activities that they can play together.
