This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Building blocks are essential learning tools for young students because they foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. They help children develop fine motor skills as they manipulate the pieces and build structures. These hands-on activities also encourage spatial awareness and an understanding of basic mathematical concepts like symmetry, balance, and geometry. Additionally, building blocks promote collaboration and social skills when students work together on projects, as well as perseverance when challenges arise. By engaging in this type of play, young students gain a strong foundation for future learning and development.
