Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have some snacks for my students when they come to the club during lunch. I work in a school in the South Bronx where students need time to enjoy socializing but are often too hungry to enjoy each other's company.

The club's goals are for students to make friends, engage in learning about Latino culture, learn about history, and talk politics in a safe space.

My students are special because, regardless of the struggles they face, they show up and try their best. I want to help them make their day extra special as well.
