My Project

Libraries today have become a great place for makerspace activities! In addition to the read alouds, book talks, book shopping activities and more we do in the library, I'd love to also have makerspace activities to for my students to enjoy, learn from and get creative. The Stick Together kits are a fun and exciting collaborative project that students really enjoy. They are always so proud of the finished product which I would love to display prominently in the hallway or in the library. Students also enjoy the oversized posters that everyone gets a chance to take part in so the final masterpiece includes artwork from all ages. Both items are definitely a conversation piece for library visitors, and I love that the activities are inclusive of all students!
