My Students

Students at my school come together from many different backgrounds and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We have both self-contained Montessori classes and self-contained gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.

My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with a project-based curriculum and hands-on learning experiences.

Our school is a place where we can come together and build while exploring concepts in science, the arts, engineering, and more.

My Project

Our upper elementary classroom is in need of high interest fiction and non-fiction books for readers of all levels. We would love to have a classroom library that all of our students may access on a daily basis. Many of the books chosen are high interest graphic novels, choose your own adventures, and non-fiction research books that will help my students build up their literacy skills.

By providing my students with fun and high-interest books, I can help foster the love for reading and writing that I hope to see in my classroom.
