Help me give my students snacks to help manage kids' hunger and motivate them to do work. Snacks can keep them from getting so hungry that they get cranky.
Having a full tummy will give them a greater chance to reach their full potential! My students have enjoyed and loved these snacks. They eagerly grab a snack throughout the day, and a few take a snack home at the end of the day. It has been such a blessing to be able to provide this for them.
Every day, throughout the day, my students would grab snacks from our classroom “snack pantry” whenever they felt hungry.
Some have snacks from home, but most of them may not. Our snack pantry is getting closer to empty. Snacks can be expensive, and we have to buy them mostly from our pockets.
I know that when I have had enough to eat, I work my best. I don't like the fact that some of my students can bring snacks every day and some can't. I also want to allow my students to take a snack home to have after school too, so this project would do that too!
Food is a necessity and a little boost for their day. Our snacks also serve as motivation and positive reinforcement for our students. They work so hard and at the end of the day, I want them to enjoy a snack or two. The snacks I am asking for are granola, fruit snacks, chips, and cookies.
