Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from low-income homes and receive many of their meals at school. Many of my students also qualify for free lunch and breakfast. No child deserves to go hungry, which is why I need help to fill my students' bellies. Having snacks like Rice Krispies, Cheez-its, and Popcorn will give my students the security of knowing that they will be nourished throughout the day at school.

By donating to our project you will not only help my students stay nourished, but will help them stay focused on their school work instead of their hunger.

If my students' bellies are full they will be fueled for the day resulting in growth in their learning development.

As their teacher, I want to create an environment where they feel safe and secure that their needs will be met. No child should have to worry about being hungry and my mission with this project is for them to feel that safety. Sometimes kids do not bring lunches and I would like to be able to provide them with something to eat like the Macarani and Cheese Cups for situations like that.
