My Project

Many seven-year-olds struggle to maintain focus and interest in today's increasingly demanding learning environments. My 2nd-grade, Multilingual students are facing the same academic challenges while simultaneously learning the English language, so it's essential to find innovative ways to engage and motivate them.

Incorporating STEM activities, games, and hands-on learning opportunities helps create a more engaging and interactive learning environment that enhances cognitive growth, problem-solving skills, and teamwork as students develop the English language skills they need to succeed.

Please help introduce a variety of STEM-based activities (Lakeshore Matter kit, Lakeshore Seed & Plant kit, Lakeshore Building Brick Challenge kit) and games (STEM Explorers Brainometry, Construction Engineering set, Marble Run set) to our classroom that will inspire my 2nd graders to embrace learning challenges, learn the content, support their English language acquisition, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
