GIS is bringing STEM back to life! STEM, or science, technology, engineering, and math, promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork and boosts curiosity.
We are looking to expand upon our STEM materials by acquiring tools that allow students to explore circuits, wiring, and general engineering aspects.
While we have some materials for STEM, such as different coding robots and iPads, but we lack other fundamental resources to teach with.
GIS offered an afterschool STEM program to students that was well attended. We're looking to expand that offering and also build STEM blocks for our older students.
