Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The use of number lines will set the pace for the year to help students understand the relationship between positive and negative numbers and how they are used in every day life. Fraction tiles are important to help students understand parts of wholes and relate it to real life skills like cooking and shopping. The protractors will help students draw and measure angles accurately. The digital scales will allow students to extend their learning with fractions and help them make predictions during science experiments. The safety goggles will makes sure the students are protected when mixing substances and preforming other science related activities. The magnifying glasses will help students take a closer look during observations.
