My second graders are amazing; we are one big community of learners. My students take a genuine interest in each other, work hard to achieve their goals, and constantly seek out new ways to learn. We love to wiggle, giggle, and grow!
Our school is a three-time National School of Character, and my seven- and eight-year-olds shine every day.
My students are both strong leaders and team players. They are hands-on learners who learn best through interaction and experience. Every day is a great day with my second graders; it's truly an honor to teach these children.
My Project
These STEM materials will be used daily in my classroom to develop critical thinking skills. My students absolutely love to build and create. The LEGO will help to make ideas from their imaginations come to fruition.
Using a variety of hands-on STEM materials meets every child's needs and gets them to think and learn while having fun in the process.
Through exploration, my students will discover they have the skills and knowledge to succeed at challenging tasks. Learning should be engaging, fun, and challenging to help kids reach their highest potential.
