This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help my students get the instructional tools they need to develop their curiosity and creativity through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) activities.

Our students come in all sizes and colors, are intelligent, curious, and eager to learn.

We are a Title I school located in a low-socioeconomic area of Miami. We have very limited funds to purchase technology for our school. As a result, our students are not able to participate in the kinds of hands-on science, engineering and math-based learning experiences that foster inquisitiveness, stimulate the mind, and promote academic growth.

My Project

I need 9 Fire HD 8 tablets so that my students can access the coding software needed to program their LEGO Education WeDo 2.0, littleBits Electronics coding kits, Makeblock mBot Robot Kit, Sphero Edu robots and other STEAM relate applications that will introduce them to engineering, coding, circuitry, and other scientific concepts.

These STEAM kits will teach them about engineering design and construction.

Our STEAM lab will encourage curiosity and innovation, develop their critical thinking skills, and expose them to real-world hands-on experiences. A STEAM lab where technology will stimulate their minds and awaken their imagination.
