My Project

Research shows how early exposure to STEAM encourages a progression from project-based learning through group inquiry to problem-based learning that concentrates on real-world issues, and ultimately to place-based learning where children learn through active participation.

I spent the year studying how STEAM lessons involving LEGOS and beloved and inspirational picture books help students develop the social-emotional skills and love of science, technology, the arts, and reading that will help them throughout their lives.

I hope to incorporate literacy-based, hands-on STEAM projects with my young, predominantly ENL, scholars with your help. Thank you!
