My Students

My kindergarteners are hard-working kids who deserve the best! Our building is made up of pre-k through fifth graders in a low-income setting. Our kiddos arrive almost exclusively by bus and everyone gets free breakfast and lunch so they are ready to learn.

My Project

All students learn best with hands-on activities. Building with a variety of materials, especially magnets and Brain Flakes, is fun and encourages students to try new things.

Fun STEAM products engage students' minds.

Helping students enjoy things like science and engineering by giving them interesting tools to build with encourages them to want to learn more. For many of my students, my classroom is the first time they are encouraged to delve into these types of activities. I want to help build future engineers, architects, mathematicians, and more. What better way than through play?
