My Project

At the end of every school year, I reflect on what activities worked well with building my students' science, engineering, and creating skills. Then I consider what materials I currently have in the classroom to help achieve my goals for them and what might improve their opportunities to grow in these areas.

The marble run, magnetic character action figures, plastic interlocking disc set, and straw construction set will perfectly supplement other toys my students have enjoyed playing with such as Magna-Tiles, pipe toys, LEGO connecting blocks, foam blocks, and geometric building sets.

The craft sticks, craft buttons, clear glue and dispensing pump, crayons, and dot stickers will replenish what supplies have been depleted in our make-something area where students have many opportunities every day to create, build, and construct things out of paper, cardboard, and plastic.
