My Project

I have the most amazing third and fourth graders you have ever met. Despite the hardships they face every day in our Title I community school in which they attend, these students prosper in everything they do. My students come to school every day, after enduring many hardships at home, with the biggest smiles on their faces. They are not only smart, but they are fun and energetic. They are always ready to learn and take it upon themselves to get ready for learning every day.

Often my students do not come to school because they are self conscious about their clothing, their hair, their hygiene.

My students are at that age where they are starting to learn about hygiene and their bodies. However, their parents have a difficult time funding the necessary hygiene tools to make sure their children are taken care of. This project will ensure my students have the hygienic tools they need as well as snacks to fuel their brains. How do I describe my third and fourth grade students as a whole when each one is so amazingly unique? They impress me on a daily basis and I feel honored to be their teacher. They appreciate everything around them and are so eager to learn new things. Their inquisitive questions inspire me every day.
