Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A majority of my high school students rely on the snacks in our classroom to make it through the day. And it goes a long way to get them in and keep them with us. Food is love! We prioritize feeding our students, but budget cuts have made it nearly impossible to fund our snack stash. We usually provide snacks at the start of class and during break times. DonorsChoose snacks have really elevated our students’ learning experience and allowed us to care for them in the ways they ask to be cared for.
