My Project

Goal is to provide snacks to students who are not able to focus because of hunger. Studies have shown that students who are constantly hungry, have a shorter attention span to get through the day. I provide free tutoring to students before and after school, and providing snacks is a great motivator. Full bellies give them the chance to focus, and learn throughout the day.

Students learn better when they can focus on the task at hand, rather that thinking about their grumbling bellies - by providing snacks, students are welcomed into the tutoring and stay for the learning.
