Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the privilege of teaching a group of motivated and curious third graders who come to school every day eager to learn and grow. One of the ways I can help them succeed is by ensuring they have the energy and focus they need throughout the day. Many of my students often come to class hungry, and providing snacks is essential for keeping them engaged and ready to learn.

The snacks will make a big difference in their learning by helping to curb hunger and maintain concentration, particularly during long lessons or before afternoon activities.

My goal is to ensure that every student can participate fully in lessons without being distracted by hunger. By offering this small but important resource, I can help set them up for success.

What makes my students special is their resilience and enthusiasm for learning. They are always willing to try new things, help one another, and stay positive—even when facing challenges. This project will allow me to support them in the best way possible, so they can keep growing and thriving in the classroom!
