My Project

My 8th graders have discovered the magic of reading, and I want to keep that spark alive! In our book clubs, they dive into meaningful discussions, make connections to their own lives, and develop critical thinking skills—but access to engaging, high-interest novels remains a challenge. Many students don’t have books at home, and our classroom library is limited. They are eager for more stories that reflect their experiences, challenge their perspectives, and keep them turning pages.

With your support, I can directly put exciting, thought provoking fiction books into their hands.

These books will not only fuel their love of reading but also build literacy skills, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation of reading. My students are amazing. They are curious, resilient, and passionate about learning. They just need the right books to keep growing.
