My Project

Creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for my students is at the heart of everything I do. I currently run an after-school program that combines education, technology, and fun to help students explore future careers while building essential academic and social skills.

To support this initiative, I’m requesting a laptop and a variety of nut-free snacks to fuel both learning and energy.

The laptop will be used as a central tool for research, coding activities, project planning, and digital content creation, all of which are integral parts of our program. Many of our students don't have access to computers at home, so having this reliable device during program hours will help bridge the digital divide and allow them to build valuable 21st-century skills.

Equally important is ensuring that our students feel comfortable and energized throughout their learning sessions. The individually wrapped, allergy-friendly snacks I'm requesting will help keep students focused and motivated during our 90-minute program. We meet after school when many students are already tired and hungry. By providing them with healthy, nut-free options, I can keep the atmosphere positive and inclusive, ensuring no student feels left out due to dietary restrictions. A well-fed student is a better learner, and these snacks will play a small but powerful role in helping students stay engaged and excited to participate.

This project isn't just about equipment and snacks—it's about creating a safe, supportive space where students feel empowered to explore, learn, and grow. Your donation will directly support a diverse group of learners, many from underserved backgrounds, who are eager to engage with technology in a meaningful way.
