My Project

My 8th grade students are bright, curious, and eager to learn, but many face challenges that can affect their focus and participation in class. Some come to school hungry, while others struggle with staying engaged and motivated, especially for after-school tutoring sessions. I want to provide my students with a variety of healthy snacks to fuel their bodies and minds throughout the day. Additionally, I plan to offer hot chips as a special incentive for students to attend and stay focused during tutoring sessions, which is crucial for their academic success.

Your contribution will help ensure that my students have the nutrition, motivation, and learning resources they need to thrive.

Along with snacks, I’m requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card. This will allow me to access high-quality, engaging resources that will help me quickly implement new activities to build both their social-emotional skills and their understanding of science. By supporting their emotional well-being and academic growth, I can better prepare them for success both in and out of the classroom.
