My Project

I absolutely love my students' resilience, curiosity, and unique perspectives as Native Alaskan learners. Each day, they bring a wealth of culture and strength into the classroom, and it's my goal to nurture their growth both academically and personally.

The snacks I'm requesting will make a significant difference in their learning by providing the energy and nutrition they need to stay focused, engaged, and healthy.

When students are well-fed, they are more alert, motivated, and ready to participate in learning activities. These snacks will give them the fuel they need to be active, positive, and fully present during class, which directly supports their academic success.

My goal for this project is to ensure that all students can enjoy a day of learning without being distracted by hunger or lack of energy. I want them to feel cared for, empowered, and equipped to reach their full potential, no matter what challenges they may face outside the classroom.

What makes my students special is their incredible resilience and determination. Despite challenges, they continue to show up, are eager to learn and are always striving to improve. By meeting their basic needs for nutrition, I can help them focus on what really matters—learning and growing into the best versions of themselves.
